Its a Grind Coffee House was founded in 1994 in Long Beach, California, with a single purpose — to create a place where communities could gather to enjoy freshly roasted coffee and engaging conversation in an environment that feels like home. Its a Grind offers only the finest Arabica coffees, micro-roasted in small batches to bring out the smoothest and best-tasting flavors in every cup.
More Than Just Coffee
We’re known for our handcrafted espresso drinks, but we’ve built our menu to go beyond coffee. We offer iced teas, smoothies, and fresh lemonades, along with a variety of food options. We make hand-rolled burritos, bagels, and sandwiches daily, plus baked goods like muffins, croissants, and scones. We wanted to make it easy for anyone to stop in and grab breakfast or lunch with their drink—all in one place.

We wanted our shop to feel relaxed, simple, and welcoming. That’s why we built a space that’s easy to walk into and hard to leave. There’s music playing, comfy seats, and a casual vibe.
